so much depends upon / a red wheel barrow / glazed with rain water / beside the white chickens. (William Carlos Williams)
It took longer than I'd planned, but a jam session of about 5 hours resulted in a plethora of pleasing papers! Finally getting around to posting them. Here are two, I'll post more later. After coffee. Maybe.
Happy 2009, people.

A plethora of pleasing papers indeed! Some awesome alliterative art.
Lovely! We make wrapping paper sort of like that--brown craft paper with stamps in red and gold. I save so much money I think I can buy expensive organza ribbon.
Organza ribbon is truly inspired! I was just using plain old raffia in red and green. Organza would add a really nice, graceful feel. Next year . . .
this is a wonderful and creative idea... I wish I'd known earlier!
Ruthibelle - there's always next year!
I totally want to do this with my children next year. So cute! I just bought some white butcher paper for now.
Ha! well, it's just about a year after you posted this! Anyway, I found this on 'images' when I did a 'google' search for 'holiday wrapping paper'!
All that to say...I love this very simple, colorful, rich paper you painted! It's great!
Oh! Organza ribbon...sounds lovely!
Lovely post! I like the way you detailed on "holiday wrapping paper".
